Juvenate is an exciting new organisation that is passionate about young people.

We believe in using dance as a tool to uncover potential, because we know young people have bucket loads of it!  

But we also know that not everyone can afford regular dance classes.  That's why we are free. Through the kind donations, sponsorship and grants Juvenate receives, we offer open sessions to all young people in the greater Wellington area.

So why dance?

Because dance demands discipline and commitment.   But it's also creative, and rewards hard work.  It improves fitness and health, while exercising the mind too.  The best part is that it's fun, and you don't have to do it alone.   

We only have one prerequisite - to bring Respect.  We do not tolerate discrimination at any level - be it race, religion, status or money - because we know dance is a universal language, available to all.

We don't want to tell young people how to live their lives.  We want to help them discover the tools so they can build their own lives.  By providing this foundation, we are building stronger, more resilient, communities.
